Whats goin on in da Nort

November 24, 2010

Whats up everyone?! This is Curtis. Just hangin out in the frozen North! Played hockey twice today! And jammed out on my John Deere Green Bluesman Telecaster! Its been an awesome freezing cold day! Pretty much to the point where I gotta plug in my 96 Chevy Tahoe at night so that the block will be warm enough to start in the morning. It almost didn’t start today or yesterday! But it DID.

We are gearing up for our Country Christmas Tour! Its gonna be awesome! Check the schedule at http://highvalleymusic.com to see when we are coming to your town! More dates will be posted soon! Oh, and make sure you wear a red shirt to the show! Or your favorite Christmas sweater from your grandmother with a snowman or a reindeer on the front! Just because its the right thing to do.

Well I hope you guys are enjoying this Holliday season as much as I am! I currently have a twitch in my right calf. Feels pretty cool I guess.

Love Curtis

Haha, Nice Curtis! I love the random little comment at the end about the twitch. lol. I had a twitch in my top lip once, everyone thought I was imitating Elvis. :)
I am really enjoying this time of the year as well! I am not even minding the snow! Must be the Christmas spirit! I’ve even been listening to Christmas tunes for about a month now. But unfortunetly you guys aren’t coming anywhere near us for your Christmas show. :( Hope to see one of them some time. :)

I tried SO hard to get our company to hire you guys for our Xmas dinner… saw you guys perform in Regina n it was so awesome :) Even had an AV company negotiate a deal for us with one of your booking agents, Nick! Buuut my little voice was over-ruled by a buncha old goobers that were stuck on waterslides and hotel rooms. (Seriously, if they only KNEW what kind of talent we’re talking here). So bummed! Hope you have a great tour despite that fact that we won’t see ya!

We just got our first snowfall out here on the island this week, and I have not had to attend any of my classes. I love the snow, but it is for sure chilly for this part of Canada. I am super excited for Christmas, and am hoping to make it over to the mainland for one of your guys’ concerts. In the mean time though i will be trying to stay warm, baking, making christmas cards, and if there is time …. doing a bit of studying before finals :) Thanks for the great music guys, keep up what you have going on.
