A Fathers Love – Ryan’s Story

February 18, 2011

So me and my dad have never really gotten along too well. We have alot of different views on things such as sports and music. I never thought my dad was proud me choosing music as my path. He would’ve preferred me to play hockey as a kid and than eventual become a chef like him. Well a few months ago he actually came to one of my school Rock Shows and after ward he told me that he was proud of me like his father was after he scored his first goal in a hockey game. The next week he taught me alot of his recipes saying that he wanted to make sure i ate well when i was living on my own. But now that i look back all those times he was saying I love you and I’m very proud of you. I’m really glad that I’ve learned to see that that’s what he was saying it’s made my whole outlook on living with my dad alot brighter. Thanks High Valley for letting me share my story with you, and for helping me see my Father’s love toward me.
